Steven McElrea (loneferret) has been working in IT professionally since 2005 mostly as a Windows and Exchange Administrator. His curiosity for information security became a full-time hobby when he was first exposed to PWB and has been a part of the Exploit Database administration team since 2009. A proud OSCP, OSWP, OSCE and Offensive Security team member; He is currently tasked with lab development and administration along with student support.
Julio Crespo (fuurio) is a security consultant. He started out as a programmer and systems administrator and was quickly lured into the security field after taking the Offensive security course. Since then he has been pursuing a career in the security field. Fuurio is a long time BackTrack and Kali user, and is prominent with his help towards the Spanish community.
Alain Hernandez (ipchain) is a security engineer with over 10 years of experience. His passion for security, vulnerability research, and exploit development has quickly turned into an obsession. Mohamed Mrabah (root-boy) started his career as a software developer but his curiosity prompted him to hack his own code. His passion for security has changed into an obsession and now he is a professional pentester holding a few certifications, most recently Offensive Security’s OSCP and OSCE.
Marco Hermans (schwermie) is working as a security specialist. Besides performing security audits, he focuses on other aspects of information security as well. He became a security specialist after being a internetworking expert for many years. As a Ham Radio operator, he has special interest in wireless security.
Muhammad Syarifudin (fl3xu5) is an Information Security Trainer & Speaker. He is working as an Assistant Manager in one of the largest Telecommunication companies in Indonesia since 2011. Previously He worked as a Lecturer of network & system administrator course and as a Technical Consultant & Network Engineer. His goal is to master Kali Linux.
Yu Arai, CISSP, is a binary ninja with over 13 years of research experience and knowledge in vulnerability, exploits, and malware analysis. He is the co-author of the security book “Analyzing Malware”. He also discovered vulnerability in major software products including Windows and Internet Explorer.
Shota Shinogi is a security researcher and pentest tool developer. He has spoken in several security conferences in Japan as well as BlackHat USA. Before becoming a researcher, he was engaged in consulting for some security products (hard disk encryption, NAC solution, IPS, WAF) for 8 years. Now he is focused on improving the security of Japanese enterprises/government against the recent cyber attacks.
albatr0ss has been involved with the italian BackTrack community since 2011. Over the last decade he has been working as a computer network administrator. Soon after starting his IT experience he became intrigued by the security field. By now, his proper paranoid mindset makes him particularly qualified in handling sensitive network infrastructures. Among others, he owns Offensive Security’s OSWP and OSCP certifications.
